St. Patrick Church

Built in 1880 for the troops of the holy cross, it is dedicated to st. Patrick who is said to have visited India during that time. It is situated opposite the qartison office, on the Kanpur road. The structure itself is load bearing structure with a traditional cruciform plan. It is done almost entirely in exposed brick and timber. Recently a false ceiling has been introduced under the roof and aluminium sheeting laid on the top of the roof. as of today, the church is frequented by the locals and admire for prayer as well a to see the structure. The bell tower at one end of the church rises up to quite a large height, with the bell situated at the very top.
