Slabs consists of wooden consist of timber joists under 'stone laadi' over which bricks and mortar make the surface. The Structure was originally only the akhada and the bhojanalaya (kitchen) right next to it. As years went by, additions were made to the structure. A small primary school, a post graduation college and a cow shed were made few years later. There was a fire in the School many years ago which led to it shutting down. Subsequently the college was also shut down. But since a few decades ago these buildings were reopened due to various financial reasons, The school's classrooms are now cut down short by addition of walls to make smaller rooms which are used today as rental quarters for students who are studying nearby. The college building has been subjected extensions of RCC structures. Currently, these set of five buildings are governed by the Maha Guru. During the kumbhmela these they also house saints and other local people looking for shelter.
